Talvar- The Making

As very rightly put by Gulzaar when there is no fiction involved, reality takes the form of a story and that is what the film 'Talvar' is about. In the gripping making video of the movie Talvar, one can very well fathom what the cast and crew of the film might have undergone while digging deep in the Noida double murder case.

The video of the making is a nice prelude to the film.It almost sets the mood of the film much before its release. Irrfan Khan rightly opines that this is a very important film because through this case a whole system is being reflected upon.The effort in opening different facets of the murder of 14-year-old Aarushi Talwar and her family's domestic servant Hemraj on the big screen with Talvar was arduous big time. The film's makers had to do extensive research over two years to make the film a reality, says one of the producers.

Directed by Meghna Gulzar, the film stars Irrfan Khan, Konkona Sen Sharma and Tabu. The film required thorough research as it showcases three points of view relating to the double-murder. And the makers didn't want to leave any loose ends and hence conducted a thorough survey of the case by undertaking an in-depth race of all the places holding importance in the murder case. With stalwarts like Gulzar saab and Vishal Bharadwaj, the film promises to be an out and out gritty portrayal of the diabolical murder case.

According to Konkona this is film about crime and presenting all its possible scenarios in different ways. Given the fact that this is the most ambiguous murder case to have shaken the country, it was more of a challenge for the makers to present all the perspectives of the murder case in a factual manner. The background score of the film too contributes to the palpitating atmosphere that is to be presented in the film. In the video Irrfan Khan affirms that this film would be new for the Indian audience. Speaking about the goof ups during the shoot, the makers confirmed that they had to face issues that were could not be undone and had a huge impact on filming however somehow or the other things fell in place and they got more than they bargained for thus all the hitches conviniently transformed into blessings in disguise.
The making video of the film by Junglee Pictures is proof that the film is the next big thing to watch out for.
